Makeup pouch

Some weeks ago I started working on these makeup pouches, following the instructions from the book I love patchwork. Well, I left them apart for quite long time, while I was busy with the last handmade presents and some other stuff. This past weekend I invested some time on it and managed to finalize them. Actually there were just minor details remaining. But, you know, once you put something out of sight... it disappear of your mind as well. 


Finally they are ready and available here.

They are made of a soft 100% cotton, the same one that I used for the comfort pack, and a selection of different cotton prints in an aqua range. The pouches have a patchwork front and back, combining the solid cotton and the prints, and a coordinated polka dot ribbon to embellish the zipper.

The lining is one of the cotton prints used in the exterior.

Hace ya unas semanas empecé a trabajar en estos neceseres, siguiendo las instrucciones del libro I love patchwork. Pues bien, han estado abandonados durante una temporada bastante larga, mientras andaba liada con los regalos hechos a mano y otras cosillas. Este pasado fin de semana le he dedicado algo de tiempo y he conseguido terminarlos. En realidad, solamente me quedaban unos pocos remates. Pero, como ocurre siempre, en cuanto dejas algo fuera de tu vista te olvidas de ello. Al menos a mí me pasa bastante. Estoy deseando empezar algo cuando todavía no he terminado lo que tengo entre manos.

Finalmente ya están listos y disponibles aquí.

Los tres neceseres están hechos de un algodón muy suave, el que utilicé para el saquito térmico, y diferentes estampados en tonos agua. El exterior es un damero de patchwork, combinando el algodón liso con los estampados. Y para adornarlos un poco, les he añadido una cinta de algodón con lunares, atada a la cremallera. Para el forro interior he usado uno de los estampados de fuera, el de dibujo más pequeñito.
