El ramo de flores más bonito del mundo

O, al menos, eso me lo parece a mi. Unas hierbas verdes y unas flores del jardín. Atadas en un ramillete con una tira de papel y una lazada con un trozo de tela que me robaron ayer del taller.
Esta ha sido mi sorpresa de esta mañana, junto con el desayuno, que me han preparado entre los dos peques, ayudados por su padre, claro.

Han estado preparándolo todo durante los últimos días. Pensando qué hacer, preguntándome qué me gusta más y qué menos, ideándolo todo. Han sido bastante cuidadosos para que no me enterase de los detalles, pero aún les falta esa picardía y alguna de las sorpresas ya las intuía. Evidentemente no he dicho ni mu, como si no hubiese visto ni oído nada ;)

No me han dejado aparecer en la cocina hasta que estuviese todo listo y ¡me ha encantado! ¡El mejor regalo del día de la madre que podía tener!

This is the best bouquet around the world. At least to me. A bunch of green grass and a few little flowers from the garden. All tied together with a string of paper and a piece of fabric, stolen from my atelier.

This was the surprise for the Mother's Day, together with the breakfast, prepared by them (with the help of his father, of course).

They've been preparing it during the last days. Thinking about it, asking me what I like and what I do not, designing everything. They've been very careful to keep all the details in secret. However they are not old enough to avoid I could know or imagine some of the things they were preparing. Obviously I didn't say anything ;)

They have not allowed me to enter the kitchen till everything was ready and I loved it! The best Mother's Day present I could ever had!

Parejitas

Martes que sabe a Viernes, y que esperaba con muchas ganas. Para tener más tiempo que dedicar a Marabara. Preparar stock, mucho stock, para algo que os contaré más adelante, cuando esté más atado. De momento os dejo con la intriga, espero poder contar más detalles dentro de poco.
También para pasarme por aquí. A saludar y a enseñar alguna de las cositas que he hecho en las últimas semanas, como estas parejitas tan monas.

Son dos conjuntos, uno de Maxi bag y mini monedero. Y el otro de bandolera en loneta y monedero neceser. La tela de esta última me encanta, tiene un color que relaja. Me gusta tanto que me he quedado con una para mi ;) Siempre digo que tengo que hacerme algún bolso para mi misma y casi nunca lo cumplo. Así que, con éste, no lo he dejado pasar.

 Tuesday with a Friday flavor. A long weekend in front of us, with plenty of time to spend in my atelier. I was really looking forward for that. To work on handbags, wallets... producing stock for a special event, which I will announce a bit later, when everything is settled. Just wait and see!
Some more time also to write a post and show you the last pieces I have been working on. Like these two sets. One with a maxi bag and a mini wallet. The other with a canvas messenger and a pouch.

This last one has a beautiful color, which I love. I always say I need to make a bag for myself but never do it. So, finally, I managed and made one with these fabrics, which I have been already using a lot.

Mosaic collection

Llevo ya un tiempo sin aparecer por aquí, y es que he estado enfrascada en la preparación de una mini colección de bolsos. ¡¡¡Sí!!! la primera colección de verdad. Chiquitita, con pocas piezas, pero colección al fin y al cabo. Y estoy muy feliz con el resultado.
Tenía muchas ganas de hacer una pequeña colección, no solamente piezas sueltas. Como siempre, con empeño las cosas salen. Y aquí está la muestra de ello. No me enrollo más y os la presento.

Inspirada en los mosaicos urbanos, nace la colección Mosaic. Composiciones geométricas, mezclando diferentes formas y colores, a modo de patchwork, dando lugar a bolsos de contornos redondeados, para romper un poco esas líneas rectas. En honor a esos edificios de Gaudí con balcones redondeados adornados con mosaicos.

Bolsos muy funcionales, para el día a día, confeccionados en tejidos vaqueros, que les dan un toque urbano. Desde el modelo más pequeño, la cartera de mano, pasando por el clutch, el bolso bandolera y el tote. Un modelo para ocasión.

It's been a long time since I did not show up here. And the reason is that I've been very busy working on a collection. Yes!!! the first one. Very small, just a few pieces. I a very happy with the result.

I was looking forward to work on a collection, not only isolated pieces, as I used to do. It is quite a lot of work but very rewarding at the same time. So, here you have the official presentation!

Inspired by the urban mosaics, the Mosaic collection features geometric compositions, combining different forms and colors, using the patchwork technique. The result is a set of bags, with rounded shapes, in order to soften the straight lines. Like in Gaudí's buildings, with those balconies embellished with mosaics.

Very functional bags, for your every day life, made of denim fabrics, which provides an urban touch. From the smaller one, a little clutch, to an oversize one, as well as a messenger bag and a tote bag. There is one for every occasion!

Coat racks

Hace ya tiempo que hice el primer perchero... de casitas, ¡cómo no!, pero no había llegado a hacer su presentación oficial. Y ya tocaba.

El origen de este perchero no es más que mi pasión por esas pequeñas casitas. Mientras hacía monederos un día se me ocurrió que podía quedar también muy chulo utilizar las casitas como decoración. Y ya puestos, si el objeto en sí tiene una utilidad, mucho mejor. Así es como surgió este perchero. Probando a juntar unas cuantas casitas y acoplándolas en un perchero de madera de abedul.

La ventaja del perchero es que las casitas se pueden quitar y poner. Así se pueden lavar fácilmente y, por qué no, si te cansas de un color siempre puedes sustituirlas por otros.

Some time has passed since I first made this coat rack... with little houses, of course! For any reason I never introduced it here, so it was time already to do so.

This coat rack came out simply because I love these little houses. While I was sewing some wallets I started thinking it could be a good idea to use them as decoration. If, on top of that, they are useful it is even better. So, this is how this coat rack was born, putting a few houses together and testing how they looked with this wooden rack.

This coat rack has an advantage, which is that the little houses can be removed. That way you can wash them easily and you can even change them for any other color if you wish.

Spring colors

Ahora que llega la primavera apetecen colores más alegres, más vivos. El invierno se hace largo y los tonos grises y marrones acaban cansando. Yo tengo ya unas ganas locas de que llegue el buen tiempo. Al menos un poquito de sol y unas temperaturas que nos permitan dejar el abrigo en casa.

Estos últimos días la primavera se ha colado en el taller. Y los estampados coloridos se han adueñado de la mesa. Después de unas jornadas de trabajo, han salido unas cuantas carteras de mano de lo más animado, que ya están de camino a El Desván de Mariola, en Fuenteálamo, Albacete, un nuevo punto de venta donde podrás encontrar nuestras cositas. Aparte de las carteras, también han viajado monederos casita y pececitos, mini monederos, neceseres y organizadores de horquillas. Un poco de todo.
Como siempre, si alguna vez estáis por allí no dejéis de visitar la tienda.

Now that Spring season is almost here the fresh and vibrant colors are more appealing. Winter seems to last for ever and grey and dark tones are getting a bit boring. I am already looking forward the good weather. At least a bit sunnier and higher temperatures to leave the coat at home.

During the last days, a bit of Spring has arrived to my atelier. It's been full of colorful prints. After some days of work a few pouches have left the workroom. They are on their way to El Desván de Mariola, in Fuenteálamo, Albacete, a new sales point where you will find a selection of our products. Apart form these pouches, you will also see little houses and fishes wallets, linen pouches, mini wallets and some hairpin organizers. A bit of everything.

Tiny little houses

Sigo enseñando casitas. Y es que llevo una temporada que no paro de hacerlas. En diferentes formatos. Casitas monedero, casitas funda de móvil y casitas broche. De todos los tamaños.

Estas casitas son minis, minis de verdad, porque no miden más que unos pocos centímetros. Unas casitas para llevar en la solapa, o adornar el bolso, tú eliges el lugar. Las he ido haciendo de diferentes colores, eligiendo pedacitos de telas que combinen entre sí. ¡Me encanta hacerlas!

I keep showing you a few more little houses. Mainly because I have been making a lot in the past weeks. In different sizes. Little houses wallets, little houses to be used as cell phone cases and, finally, little brooches.

These ones are very, very small, they just measure a few centimeters. So you can wear them on your coat, or embellish your handbag, as you wish. I've made them in different prints, choosing tiny scraps, combining the colors. I love them!
