The lovely Maaike, from Crejjtion, gave Marabara the Stylish blogger award. This is the very first award that Marabara receives so it is very special for me. I feel honoured, proud... and HAPPY!!
Now it is my turn to, firstly, tell you something about myself, the person behind Marabara, and, secondly, give this award to some other blogs.
Starting with my "description":
- I am mad about colors
- I love fabric and, to be honest, became a bit addicted
- I have two kids, a 10 years old son and a 6 years old daughter, that you may see partially in some photos
- Every spring I grow my own vegetables. Even though I've not been very successful lately I do not give up... I need to find out how to get rid of voles/moles (I am not sure what type they are. I have only seen their holes...) in a environmental friendly way
- I have a looong TO DO list, growing every day. There is so much inspiration out there...
-... I wish the day had, at least, forty hours
- I hate winter and love summer
- I like cooking and always try local food wherever I go
....
And now it is time to nominate some other blogs for this award. It is a very difficult decision as I would give this award to so many blogs... The ones I have selected are:
- One of the first blogs that I started following, A Spoonful of Sugar, by Lisa Cox. It is a really inspiring blog, where you will find lovely ideas. I have already done several projects based on her suggestions and some more are in my waiting list.
- The second one is for another newcomer into the blogging world, as I am, who was one of my first followers: Viagens ao Interior, by Libelinha. Her comments and compliments are encouraging me all the time. Furthermore, I love her photos, so natural and hearty. They have something.
- Finally, a Spanish one: Kireei. I discovered this blog just a couple of months ago and became part of my favourite list immediately. Kireei means "beautiful things" in Japanese and this blog is full of that, tons of great ideas every day and so many beautiful things that it is a permanent source of inspiration.
Aunque no he tenido mucho éxito hasta ahora no me rindo!
Tienen algo.
It is well-deserved!
ReplyDeleteLove, Maaike
Thanks for the award - it is much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteI'm not in blog awards. I think every blog is special plus we have competition enough in this world. For me blogging is fun and my way to express my thoughts etc. whatever other people think.
Yes, I know I'm a difficult person... :)
Our holiday in Australia was great but too short. We met so many nice people, heard so many interesting stories how people ended up to Australia.
Our next trip is going back to Finland but for how long is still open............
